Month-by-month guide to Auburn-Lewiston Maine events for 2026 — Great Falls Balloon Festival, Liberty Festival, Dempsey Challenge. Plan your stay.
Lewiston-Auburn has a fuller events calendar than visitors expect. Between the city itself, Bates College, the breweries, the parks, and the seasonal festivals tied to central Maine’s farming and outdoor culture, there is something happening most weeks of the year. Below is the month-by-month rundown for 2026 — the events worth planning a trip around, and the seasonal rhythms worth knowing about.
Dates listed below are based on 2026 schedules where confirmed; check official sources for exact day-of-event details.
